Yin and Yang Shanghai 2012
Yin and Yang stand for the opposites on which, according to Chinese philosophy, everything in the world is based.
My artworks are yin and yang.
Yang stands for light, white, high, hard and masculine.
Yin stands for black, soft, moist, cold, calm and feminine.
With these two contrasting large-format paintings, I wanted to contribute my personal understanding to this Chinese philosophy.
